Hundreds of students, teachers and other staff members have potentially been exposed to the coronavirus since schools opened across the Treasure Coast for the new school year.
For some students, this has meant entire classes sent home to quarantine.
In other cases, schools have had individuals who tested positive for the COVID-19.
Martin County schools opened Aug. 11, and the St. Lucie and Indian River districts opened Aug. 24.
Martin County does not confirm if a student or employee has tested positive, district spokesperson Jennifer DeShazo said.
Students in the district are sent home if one of two criteria is met: an individual has tested positive for COVID-19 or an individual is a close contact of someone who has tested positive.
TCPalm will update this list of positive cases and those exposed as information is released by the three Treasure Coast school districts.
