Location at 5:30: about 30 miles south-southeast of Sebastian Inlet.
Movement: 9 mph
Winds: 70 mph maximum sustained winds in the ocean on the east side of the storm. On land, 35 to 40 mph winds
Highest sustained wind: 40 mph in Indian River Shores Sunday afternoon
Gusts: 48 mph maximum sustained wind gusts at Sebastian Inlet
Highest gust: 50 mph at about 1:30 p.m. in Indian River Shores
Rain: 2 to 4 inches on coast; 1 to 2 inches inland expected
Eye: 8 p.m. expected to pass into Brevard County
Power Outages: 1,840 FPL customers remained without power as of 6 p.m. Sunday, and about 6,440 had been affected out of the utility company's 326,200 Treasure Coast customers. Indian River County had the highest, with 830 customers without power as of 6 p.m. Sunday, with 3,750 affected. St. Lucie County had 410 without power, and 2,160 affected. Martin County had 60 customers without power, with 530 affected.
Shelters: 38 people stayed in 2 shelters in Indian River County; left early Sunday.
