Port St. Lucie man accused of molesting two girls

PORT ST. LUCIE— A Port St. Lucie man is accused of molesting two girls younger than 16.

Alex Valle, 23, of the 2400 block of Southeast Alfonso Avenue in Port St. Lucie was arrested on two counts of lewd and lascivious molestation of children.

Port St. Lucie Police Department officers said on Aug. 3 they were called about Valle molesting children by one of the girls' mother.

Officers spoke with one of the girls who said months ago Valle inappropriately touched her. The girl told police she didn't tell her mother or anyone else sooner because she was scared.

The girl also told officers that she saw Valle inappropriately touch another girl.

Officers set up a controlled call between the mother of the girl who deputies spoke with and Valle. During the call, Valle told the girl's mother he accidentally inappropriately touched the girl and he would get help.

Police said they also spoke with Valle who told them he accidentally touched the girl police spoke with, but that the girl was exaggerating.

Police arrested Valle on a warrant and took him to the St. Lucie County Jail. He later was released on $200,000 bail.
