COVID-19 on Treasure Coast: What you need to know Friday, Sept. 18

The Florida Department of Health reported 82 new COVID-19 cases and no newly-recorded deaths Friday.
The total number of cases on the Treasure Coast increased to 15,475. The cumulative death toll remained at 500 on the Treasure Coast.

Health officials have said the virus is not necessarily the cause of death, but they record people who at some point tested positive for the virus and later die.
